When you learn to use imaginative experiences to reach your goals, often solutions become more apparent and easier to  achieve. Hypnosis can help you understand and gain more control over your behavior, emotions, and physical well-being. There are countless ways to use hypnosis to reach your goals. Hypnosis is a valuable tool in the recovery from depression and anxiety. Imagine learning to change self-defeating habits and thoughts with a relaxed and focused mind. In as little as 1 to 12 sessions, you will learn how to relax your body's response to stress and focus on the thoughts and experiences that will help you reach your goals. In a typical session, we will go over a detailed history of your struggles with your mood and allow you to try hypnosis in the first appointment. I will also develop a self-hypnosis recording that you can use in-between appointments. You will quickly learn to gain perspective on your experiences, change thinking patterns that no longer serve you, and enjoy newfound optimism and resilience.

I‘ve had chronic hip pain for years. Due to renal damage, I cannot take NSAIDs. I called Kathy for help. She gently guided me to focus my attention on the pain-free parts of my body. With her gentle encouragement, I found imaginative solutions to lower my experience of pain. The process helped me regain my confidence and develop skills to get through necessary and painful physical therapy to prepare for a hip replacement.
